Background
Utility Droids were droids used within the Kingdom of Jod and considered very basic second-degree droids, able to communicate only in Droidspeak. They were programmed for basic repair tasks, janitorial duties, and unskilled labor tasks. The T3-series Utility Droid was considered a utility droid.
As with all other droids in the Kingdom of Jod, utility droids are part of the New Class Droid from 28 BBY.
