Turr was an orphan, his family killed by the Clone Wars. Briefly adopted by an outreach program by the Jedi Order - which bequeathed him his surname after his Jedi sponsor - by the third year of the war he was abandoned again on Commenor, which crystallised a loathing of the Republic into a specific hatred of the Jedi who had given him hope. When he discovered they were traitors, his perspective all fell into a neat little pile that told him the Jedi were the source of chaos, and disorder, and they had ruined the Republic - and the Empire would fix all that.
Professional History
Obsessively trying to join up, he was eventually picked up by Imperial recruitment and threw himself into his studies, defending what little he had in the Academy with a paranoia verging on destructive. Nonetheless his piloting skills were noticed and he made his way through the training. Though not particularly talented, his eye to detail and dedication to cause do stand out, even if he has a perpetual inability to get on with his equals. To superiors he appears almost irrationally Imperial, but it looks good to have a radical affirming the propaganda of the masses.
