Tac-SenCom Engineering Technicians (SenCom Tech)---Tactical, Sensors, Communications, Engineering (maintenance) Technician---are a hybrid mix of a maintenance technician, sensor officer, & communications officer attached to the Delta-class JV-7 Escort Shuttle of the Starfighter Corps and M-1FD Planetary Drop Ship of the Kingdom's Navy. Specifically recruited from a Flight Mechanic Squadron or Transport Mechanic Squadron in a highly successful joint program with Logistics Command (Maintenance & Mechanical), these experienced maintenance technicians with cross-training in communications & sensors bring a level of flexibility to the Escort Shuttle & M-1FD rarely seen elsewhere in the Jod Military Forces for any craft or vehicle.
Experienced maintenance technicians becoming SenCom Techs are specifically trained at a selected 3 of the 18 Naval Technical Colleges.
